This Online Privacy Policy and Website Usage Agreement ("Policy") only relates to the information we collect online through our website (www.alabamacu.com). our online banking platform, our electronic statements platform, and mobile banking application (collectively, the "Sites"). - WE DO NOT USE ANY THIRD-PARTY WEBSITE TO SOLICIT OR COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION. Posting of personal information on such websites is done at your own risk. We suggest members review the privacy policies of all websites before using them and adjusting privacy settings accordingly.
- Third Party Service Providers include but are not limited to the following:
- Chat feature. The Chat feature is an on-demand service that provides real-time messaging with a chatbot. Messaging exchanged via chatbot will be treated as an authorized communication with the member. Members may use this feature to receive answers to questions regarding site navigation, who to contact, and other basic information. Please refer to terms of service linked within the chat feature.
- Co-Browsing. The Co-Browsing feature only works on Alabama Credit Union-owned sites- www.alabamacu.com and online banking website. After a member requests/consents to co-browsing, co-browsing sessions allow Alabama Credit Union member care agents to see the screen for Alabama Credit Union-owned sites, and ACU Member Care Agents ("agents") can click/navigate those sites on the member's behalf. Agents must offer and members must accept this service via the Chat feature, and/or members must request/agents must generate, and offer/members must accept this service in order for it to become enabled. Please refer to Terms of Service for co-browsing feature linked at time of co-browse session.
Screen Share. Screen sharing is also available via agent offer/member acceptance via the Chat feature, or member request/agent generation and offer/member acceptance of service for it to become enabled. Screen Share applies to any and all windows opened by members, and a message advises members to close any screens that they do not wish Member Care Agents to view prior to the acceptance of the screen share session. Members also may choose which screen/window to share prior to the beginning of the session. Please refer to Terms of Service for screen share linked at time of screen share session.
Outside Payments using Debit Card functionality (Smart Pay). Functionality is available for you to make a loan payment from an outside account using a debit card. Please refer to the Terms of Service for Smart Pay linked on the Smart Pay website.
7. Social Media
