Like many other credit unions and financial institutions, we have learned that counterfeit checks which bear Alabama Credit Union's name as the issuer are being circulated. To verify any check drawn on an Alabama Credit Union account or issued by Alabama Credit Union, please contact us at (888) 817-2002.

Alabama Credit Union will never e-mail or call you (even if your caller ID displays Alabama Credit Union's phone number) asking for account numbers, confidential information, your password or user ID for any of your Alabama Credit Union accounts or credit cards. We will never contact you to participate in a survey by asking for your account number or confidential account information. If you have received any such call or message purporting to be from Alabama Credit Union or any party representing us, please know that it is fraudulent and an attempt to phish your confidential account information. This type of scam commonly targets account holders as we have reported on our ID Theft Resource Center page.

Your account is safe. Your account data has not been disclosed or breached. You should never respond to phone calls or e-mails of this type.
