    Item being offered for sale at public auction is:
    "Crimson Dynasty," a Daniel Moore painting on canvas; subject of painting is BCS 2012 National Championship football game played on January 7, 2013, in Sun Life Stadium, during which The University Of Alabama bested Notre Dame with a score of 41-14 and earned its 15th National Championship title. Painting size is approximately 26.5" x 36". Painting is linen-style matted and framed in rich hardwood; overall framed size is 45" x 36". Painting is signed by artist Daniel Moore, and the three UA football players who are depicted in the painting: Chance Warmack, Eddie Lacey and Barrett Jones.

    Bid submission for the painting ("item") will begin on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. via the website and end on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. Award will be made by end of day on November 4, 2013. Only the winning bidder will be notified.

    Bid submissions shall be made on a ‘sealed bid’ basis via the 'Official Online Secret Meals Auction Form’; only this bid form may be used for a bid to be considered. Bids submitted on forms or methods other than this official bid form will be excluded from consideration. A minimum bid of $2,000 is required for item to be sold.

    Alabama law requires that an individual must be 19 years of age to sign and enter into a contract, therefore an individual must be 19 years of age to submit a bid to Secret Meals For Hungry Children for this item.

    Please note that no special bidding instructions from bidder will be honored. The item will be sold to the highest bidder that pledges to pay the accepted dollar amount on the ‘Official Online Secret Meals Auction Form’. The successful bidder shall be held responsible for payment and pick-up of the item from Alabama Credit Union’s Administration Office, 220 Paul Bryant Drive, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401, on or before Friday, November 8, 2013, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., excluding Saturday and Sunday (when Alabama Credit Union will be closed). Failure to comply with these requirements may result in revocation of sale of item to bidder and subsequent sale of item to an alternate bidder.

    Payment for the item must be made by cash, approved personal check, approved company check or cashier’s check. Checks should be made payable to ‘The Alabama Credit Union Foundation, Inc.” Payment in full must be received before item will be released to bidder. Net proceeds from auction of item will be used for Secret Meals For Hungry Children program.
