Credit Union Service Centers
A nationwide network of shared credit union offices. Click here for locations , including Huntsville, Madison, Decatur, Hartselle, Moulton, Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, and Mobile. Many CUSC locations are open six days per week, and ATMs are available at most locations.
For the convenience of other credit unions' members, Alabama Credit Union operates CUSC locations within its South Huntsville, UAH, Foley, and Orange Beach offices. Visit our Locations page for addresses.

Credit Union Service Centers network posts policies
A shared-credit union network of more than 1,800 locations in 42 states, Credit Union Service Centers is a no-fee benefit provided to Alabama Credit Union members; many CUSC locations offer convenient extended hours until 7 p.m. on weekdays, and until 5 p.m. on Saturday. ATMs are available at most locations, and some assess no surcharge fee.
Some CUSC policies, however, may differ from those in place at Alabama Credit Union’s own offices. When visiting a CUSC location, please:
• Complete a deposit/withdrawal slip before approaching teller windows;
• Provide a valid, unexpired state-issued driver license or non-driver license;
• Verify and sign a completed receipt;
• Place right thumbprint on a check over $50.00 to be deposited or cashed.
The following transactions can be performed at a CUSC location:
• Cash or check deposits to savings or checking accounts;
• Cash or check withdrawals from savings or checking accounts;
• Cashing of recognized payroll checks;
• Copies of statements (last 10 transactions)
• Transfers
• Loan payments
• Purchase of official checks, money orders, travelers checks and theme park tickets
• Free notary service
• 24-hour ATM service (withdrawals, transfers and balance inquiries only).
The following services cannot be provided at a CUSC location:
• Accounts cannot be opened or closed.
• Non-members cannot cash checks drawn on participating credit union members’ accounts.
Check policies at CUSC locations:
Alabama Credit Union will be contacted on the following types of checks, and may instruct CUSC to hold available funds. If Alabama Credit Union is closed, an off-line transaction will be completed until the credit union is notified on the next business day. Funds availability policies will apply to:
• Local checks (if your account does not have the funds available for the amount of the check)
• Non-local checks
• Unfamiliar business or payroll checks
• Insurance drafts;
• Counter checks
• Cashier checks/official checks
• Money orders
Off-line policies:
An off-line transaction will be completed if Alabama Credit Union’s data processing system is unavailable, or if the host credit union's data processing system is unavailable. Special arrangements may be made for members whose credit unions were affected by Hurricane Katrina -- please ask us.
The following transactions may be performed during an off-line mode:
• Deposits unlimited (check hold policies apply)
• Withdrawals may be limited
• Loan payments unlimited.
CUSC locations outside of Alabama may accept only deposits in an off-line mode.
