Our Market Index Certificate enables the member to earn a percentage of the return of the Dow Jones Industrial Average index without the risk of loss of principal -- and a guaranteed minimum rate of return of 1% APR. Available are 36 and 60-month Market Index CDs with a minimum deposit of $500. Market Index Certificates are available for IRA or non-IRA deposits.

With the Market Index Certificate, you protect your principal but still have the opportunity to share in a market upswing. Research shows that a four-year Market Index Certificate established on any date since 1980 would have earned dividends 100 percent of the time, while a two-year certificate would have earned dividends 97 percent of the time.
