Falcon Network Security For Your VISA Card
(Spring, 2007): Debit and credit card transactions are now being monitored by a security system – called Falcon -- designed to pick up activity that appears unusual or fraudulent. If the transactions are considered unusual, you will receive a phone call to verify if the charge is valid or not. The caller will not ask for the card number; however, he or she may ask for the last four digits of the Social Security number to confirm he or she is speaking to the cardholder. If you are phoned, and verify that the transaction is valid, no other action is required. If we are unable to contact you, or if you decline to speak to the caller from Falcon, a temporary block will be placed on your card until contact is made and the transaction can be verified. Extremely suspicious credit card charges will result in our blocking the card before we contact you. This added security is to prevent any additional fraudulent charges from taking place on your account.
Please remember: A Falcon representative will never ask for your card number, nor for any personal information other than the last four digits of your Social Security number. If you are suspicious about a caller, please do not respond, and promptly call us directly at (888) 817-2002.
